About the Event
Join Stephanie for this very special restorative class that is designed to help the mind-body complex down regulate and deeply relax. Many of us are in a state of arousal or hyper-arousal too much of the time. Unmanaged stress is detrimental to our physical and mental health as well as our social-emotional relationships.
In this class we will move through a nurturing somatic sequence of gentle movements that will sooth the nervous system like a lullaby. Using the floor and gravity as our props, these movements may help in releasing both surface tension as well as long held stress patterns. We will also explore specific breathing protocols (pranayama) that can be used anytime to help reduce the stress response.
You will leave this class feeling steady and whole again, and you will have tools that you can engage on your own in day-to-day life to reduce stress and enhance wellbeing.
