New Year’s Day: Embodied Intention with Stacie Overby
Our afternoon will begin with dharma teachings exploring how to truly embody what matters most. Often times we feel inspired to manifest a particular vision for our lives, but struggle to make that vision a lived reality in our day to day
Through a combination of healing art modalities such as breath work, somatic movement, yoga asana and self-inquiry practices we will begin the journey towards understanding our heart- felt intentions.
Subtle body somatic movements (“floor flow”) is a potent system designed to calm and ground the nervous system, preparing us to have more presence and capacity, to sense and feel the more physically demanding portions of the practice. After our subtle body flow, we will seamlessly transition into a breath oriented, mindful yet rigorous asana practice. Poses will be held for longer periods of time to cultivate proper alignment from the inside out, ultimately allowing for a deeper expression of each posture. We will complete our afternoon with guided self -inquiry intended to illuminate and inspire your inner wisdom.
