2022 New Year Burning Bowl Ceremony
In many histories, cultures, and traditions, the number 108 has been long considered a sacred number. There are 108 prayer beads strung in a mala, 108 pressure points in the body, the distance from the Earth to the Sun is approximately 108 times the diameter of the Sun, Buddhist temples in Japan chime bells 108 times to signify the ending of the old year and ringing in the new.
With 2021 coming to a close and the beginning of 2022 around the corner, we’re reminded to pause, take stock, and – as the cycle of the season, release all that no longer serves us. In releasing, we create space to welcome opportunities to begin with a fresh slate. What better way to close the ending of the year and ring in the new with ritual, community, and manifestation?
In this workshop, we will be combining the benefits of a restorative vinyasa flow to clear the energetic systems, coupled with guided meditation and energy healing to realign ourselves with our higher, intuitive selves, and the cleansing ritual of a burning bowl ceremony to release the year previous so we can truly call in a life we authentically love.
